Who we are
Hop With Ann is a registered local travel business in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, Philippines. We handle your personal information under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
- Your trip details: route, dates, group size, luggage, special requirements and where you're from
- Anything else you choose to tell us in a message
- For partners and creators: your business details and how you'd like to be paid
Why we use it
- To plan your trip and send you a quote
- To book your ferries, drivers and hotels
- To send your booking email, safety pack, a departure reminder and one review request after your trip
- To contact you about tours only if you ask us to
Who we share it with
Only the people needed to deliver your trip: ferry operators, drivers, hotels and tour providers on your route. We use trusted services to run the website and send emails (Vercel for hosting, Bird for email). We never sell your data and never share it for anyone else's marketing.
Cookies and visit counts
We count page visits and link clicks anonymously, without cookies and without storing who you are, so we know which pages help people. We also use Microsoft Clarity, without cookies, to see anonymously how pages are used (where people click and scroll) so we can make the site easier to use. Anything typed into forms is hidden from it. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If you arrive through a partner's link or QR code, we save a small cookie for 30 days so the partner can be credited if you enquire.
How long we keep it
We keep booking details for as long as we need them to deliver your trip and meet our business record-keeping duties. Enquiries that don't become bookings are deleted when they're no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Just email ann@hopwithann.com.
