How booking works
- You send your plan. Ann replies with options and a clear quote.
- Nothing is booked until you accept the quote.
- Ann needs at least 7 days' notice before your first travel date.
- Ann arranges ground and sea travel: ferries, boats, vans, drivers and airport transfers. She doesn't book scheduled flights. Book those yourself and she'll time everything around them.
Paying
- A 50% deposit confirms your booking, paid by a secure payment link (card or bank transfer through Wise).
- The balance is due before you travel. Ann will tell you the exact date.
- Prices are quoted for your group, dates and route, and include everything listed in your quote.
Refunds
- Ferry cancelled because of bad weather: you get a refund for that part of your trip.
- Missed ferry: no refund. Please be at the port at the time Ann gives you.
- Missed or delayed taxi or transfer to the port: no refund. Allow plenty of time for traffic when you plan your day.
If you need to change your plans, tell Ann as early as possible and she'll do her best to help, but changes depend on what the ferry operators and drivers allow.
Weather
Ferry operators and the coast guard cancel sailings in rough weather for everyone's safety. Check your sailing with the operator on the day of travel. If it's cancelled, contact Ann for the options. We recommend travel insurance and a buffer day before international flights.
Your responsibilities
- Bring a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date. Ferry tickets are issued in your name.
- Be at the meeting point or port at the times Ann gives you, allowing extra time for traffic.
- Check your own visa, entry and eTravel requirements.
- Tell Ann about any medical needs, mobility needs or large luggage when you book.
Emergency help service
Emergency coordination is a separate, paid service.
- Ann's first reply is free: she assesses the situation and points you to the right services, including your insurer's assistance line.
- If Ann coordinates help for you, the fee is $1,000 for up to 4 hours. Any extra time is quoted and agreed before it starts.
- Payment is due upfront by secure link or by invoice within 7 days of help starting. It may be paid by you, a travel companion, family, an employer or your insurer.
- In serious cases (risk to life, a missing child, hospital admission) Ann may start before payment is received. The fee is still owed. Ann may decline a request.
- You receive a receipt for your insurance claim. Fees are not refundable once work has started.
- Ann coordinates remotely: transport, hospitals, embassy contact and similar. She is not an emergency service and cannot guarantee an outcome. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 first.
Our responsibility
Ann books and coordinates your trip with independent ferry operators, drivers and hotels. Each provider is responsible for its own service. Ann will always do her best to help if something goes wrong.
