Quick Answer: Iloilo to Boracay
Most budget flights land in Iloilo, not Caticlan. We handle the 5-hour van to Caticlan Jetty Port, the 15-minute ferry to Boracay, and your transfer to your hotel door — one booking, zero logistics stress.
How It Works: 4 Steps to Your Boracay Hotel
This isn’t a ferry guide — it’s a full logistics solution. You land in Iloilo, we take over.

Our driver meets you at Iloilo airport or hotel. Private van ready. No waiting for a jeepney.
Van to Caticlan

Ferry to Boracay
15–20 minute boat ride across Caticlan Strait. Your ticket is paid. Just board.
Delivered to Hotel
Trike waiting at Boracay pier with your name. Taken directly to your hotel door. Luggage handled.
What’s Included in Your Package
We don’t sell ferry tickets. We sell complete journeys. Everything you need from Iloilo airport to your Boracay hotel room is in this one price.
Your Complete Journey
Pricing: Van + Ferry + Transfer
Our all-inclusive packages eliminate every guesswork variable. One price covers the van from Iloilo, the ferry, all fees, and your transfer to your Boracay hotel. No hidden costs. No surprises at the port.
| Package | Per Person (PHP) | Per Person (USD) | What’s Included |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tourist Class + Transfers | PHP 2,900 | $52 | Economy van seat + ferry + environmental & terminal fees + trike to hotel |
| Premium Class + Transfers | PHP 3,350 | $60 | Priority van seating + ferry + environmental & terminal fees + trike to hotel |
DIY costs PHP 775–1,075 if you piece it together yourself: van PHP 400–600 + environmental fee PHP 75 + ferry PHP 100 + terminal fee PHP 100 + trike to hotel PHP 100–200. But you’ll also spend hours coordinating each leg, waiting in the wrong spots, and negotiating with unofficial drivers.
Ann’s Price Tip
I’ve sent hundreds of travelers on this route. The ones who DIY always message me afterwards saying they wish they’d just booked the package. The Iloilo-Caticlan van alone takes 5 hours — the last thing you want after that is to figure out ferry tickets and trike negotiations. Our package price (PHP 2,900–3,350) is worth the stress-free guarantee.
Why Book With Us vs DIY: The Iloilo Problem
Budget flights saved you money. But they landed you in Iloilo, not Caticlan. If you think you’ll DIY from here, consider what’s actually involved:
Step 1: Find the van terminal in Iloilo. It’s not at the airport. It’s in the city. You need to either grab a taxi or ask at your hotel. Step 2: Negotiate the van price. It’s not fixed — drivers will quote you PHP 500–700 depending on how tired you look. Step 3: Wait for other passengers. Vans don’t leave on a schedule; they wait until they’re full. You might wait 30 minutes or 2 hours. Step 4: Endure the 5-hour drive. No bathroom breaks on the schedule. Drivers play loud Filipino music. You can’t control the air-conditioning. Step 5: Know where to get off. Caticlan has multiple drop-off points. If the driver drops you at the wrong one, you’ll be walking around with luggage. Step 6: Walk to the jetty port. It’s not adjacent to the van terminal. It’s a 5–10 minute walk uphill with your bags. Step 7: Pay environmental fee. PHP 75 in cash only. No card. Step 8: Pay terminal fee. PHP 100 cash. Step 9: Buy your ferry ticket. You’ll queue with 50 other backpackers. Step 10: Board the ferry. Assigned seating is a suggestion. Overbooked ferries happen. Step 11: Arrive in Boracay. Step 12: Negotiate with trike drivers. They see your confusion and will quote you PHP 500 for a PHP 150 ride. You’ll end up paying PHP 300–400.
That’s 12 steps. That’s 7+ separate cash transactions. That’s hours of logistics stress after already spending 5 hours in a cramped van.
Travel in Bohol = 1 booking, 1 price, zero negotiations, zero guessing.
The Iloilo Route: Why Budget Airlines Do This
Caticlan Airport is gorgeous but tiny. It can’t handle daily budget airline traffic. Cebu Pacific, AirAsia, and other carriers fly to Iloilo instead because it’s the closest major hub with frequent service. That makes Iloilo the defacto gateway to Boracay for price-conscious travelers. It also makes the Iloilo-Caticlan leg something you absolutely cannot DIY without stress.
Our packages exist because this route is so common and so logistically messy that we built an entire service around it.
The Boracay Side: White Beach & Beyond
You’re heading to the island everyone talks about. Boracay’s main draw is White Beach — a 4-kilometer stretch of pale sand on the western coast. It’s packed with beach bars, water sports vendors, and island nightlife. If you want restaurants, the main coastal road has everything from beachfront fine dining to street food. If you want to escape the crowds, the northeast coast is quieter, and snorkeling to nearby Crocodile Island is a half-day trip.
Our hotel trike transfer drops you at your door, so you can check in, rest, and explore on your own schedule. Most travelers spend 2–4 days on Boracay before heading to their next island.

Heading Back to Iloilo or Cebu?
Most Boracay travelers spend 3–5 days on the island, then move to Cebu, El Nido, or back to Manila. If you want to return to Iloilo or continue to Cebu, we offer the reverse route (Boracay to Caticlan to Iloilo) or you can book a direct ferry from Caticlan to Cebu City. Let us know your next destination when you book, and we’ll coordinate the entire trip.
Boracay + Palawan: Combine Routes
Many travelers book Iloilo-Boracay, spend 3–4 days, then want to continue to El Nido or Coron in Palawan. We can coordinate a Boracay-Caticlan-El Nido route (or Boracay-Manila-El Nido if you prefer flying). Ask about combo discounts when you book.
